Visual design and Elementor layout: Conqr Digital Agency's design team.
Guval is a Mexican food group with six product lines — pasta, soups, sauces, flours, cookies and pellets — and brands such as Morimoto and Satoru. It needs a portal that works as a corporate site, a browsable catalog of 100+ products and useful content for consumers at the same time, without turning into a maze. The technical challenge is modeling the information well: products by line, recipes with several dimensions and brands, all connected and easy for the client to maintain.
Structured the catalog in WooCommerce: 100+ products across six lines, with AJAX filter navigation and product sheets carrying the data a wholesale buyer asks for — shelf life, sales unit, EAN and DUN codes, primary packaging, case and pallet configuration.
Built the recipe book on WP Delicious Recipes, which adds its own content type and taxonomies for cuisine, cooking method, dish type and diet, plus a recipe search. That way each recipe can feature a house product, like soy ramen made with Ramen Morimoto.
Yoast SEO for metadata and sitemaps, reCAPTCHA-protected contact forms, and a staging environment with PHP 8.2 and Let's Encrypt SSL where the portal is tested ahead of launch.
